Why it is useful

What surprised me

I used to treat Slack's DM-with-myself as a scratchpad for drafts. With Ops, that same space turned into where I preview agent output. A quiet, persistent thread that's become a real product surface for one person in Slack.

On paper you could dismiss "a conversation with yourself" as pointless; in practice it's disproportionately useful.
